Training
Becoming an entrepreneur can be a challenge, but it can also be a lot of fun! If you've got the right knowledge and skills, there's no limit to the things you can accomplish. In order to get your Cafe franchise open, you will learn our tried and true system. There are three phases of training to go through prior to opening –
You meet with a member of our leadership team, either an Area Developer or one of our corporate Regional Directors, and they take you to a Tropical Smoothie Cafe in your area to become fully immersed in the day-to-day operations of a Cafe. It's here where you'll learn the heart and soul of the hospitality that Tropical Smoothie Cafe provides their customers, as well as how to make some great tasting, healthy food and smoothies!
Once you've successfully completed Phase 1, you're off to our Corporate Headquarters. It's intensive. It's thorough. It's in sunny Destin, FL! You'll be there for one full week of classroom training. The entire staff will be on hand to either conduct a segment of the Phase 2 training or just welcome you to the team. You'll be trained on all aspects of our business. Upon graduation, you'll be issued a diploma and will head on to Phase 3.
It's another week at a local Cafe. You've got all the ins and outs down by now. You'll put your newly acquired skill set to the test, applying knowledge learned in the first two phases in a real world environment and prepare to launch your own Cafe franchise.

We've got a great Intranet specifically for the franchisees to use as a form of two-way communication with their peers and with the corporate staff.
Additionally, we've got a great online ordering system that's quick and easy so that you can spend less time in line and more time in the tropics. Another feature we have just for franchisees is the ability to create and print out customized marketing and advertising materials.

Operations
Our Regional Directors (RD) provide high quality support in compliance with system standards. Their primary function is to be a catalyst for sales to achieve greater franchise and company profitability. They conduct meetings, regular field operation visits, cafe facility audits, training for system changes and rollouts for new programs and products.
Procurement
Our experienced purchasing department partners with suppliers to provide low prices and a reliable supply chain. The importance of a sustainable, reliable supply network cannot be overstated. We need to get the goods to you, so that you can get the goodies to your customers.
