How do I get started?
Simply click "Get The Kit!" and fill out the Franchise Information Request Form. You will then complete and return the Confidential Personal Financial Statement to us.

How long does it take to open a Tropical Smoothie Cafe Franchise?
Once we've identified a site location and have a signed lease, it typically takes about 90-120 days to open the doors for business.
Do I receive training by Tropical Smoothie Cafe?
Of Course! You wouldn't go SCUBA diving without learning how first, right? It's the same with Tropical Smoothie Cafe and it can mean the difference between barely scraping by and exponential growth.
We'll train you in the marketing and operations of your cafe franchise. As part of the curriculum, we also train you on business management. We have a comprehensive training program that includes several weeks of hands-on training in your market, as well as one week at our Corporate Headquarters in Destin, FL. While there, you'll meet face-to-face with experts in many aspects of running a Tropical Smoothie Cafe. These people will share their secrets and lead you down the path to success.

Will I receive any help in selecting my location?
Yes. We are contracted with a professional site consultation firm to provide each franchisee with a corporate site analysis specific to each franchisee’s market.
What type of location does Tropical Smoothie Cafe look for?
Locations are generally 1,200 to 1,600 square feet, but size may vary. We look for a unique combination for success: highly populated areas, good visibility, easy accessibility and high traffic count.
Is there an advertising fee?
Yes. The current advertising fee is three percent (3%) of gross sales, excluding sales tax. One percent (1%) will be allocated to national advertising and the remaining two percent (2%) will be invested locally in each market.
What is the royalty charge for continuing support?
The continuing fee is six percent (6%) of gross receipts, excluding sales tax.
What is the cost of a Tropical Smoothie Cafe franchise?
The franchisee fee is $25,000 for a single unit. Multi-unit franchise fee are $25,000 for the first unit and $15,000 for each additional agreement.
What types of franchises are available?
Individual franchisees as well as multi-unit franchises are available.
