Yes, the franchise model and the support we provide to our franchise operators makes running a business easier than ever! We handle the menu innovation and provide marketing support to drive traffic and sales to your Cafe. We have also made operations easy for you by removing hard-to-use equipment, like deep fryers and hooding systems, so that you can focus on fresh food, freshly prepared daily.
Our Cafes are open 7 days a week from 7am-9pm.
The overall investment cost range is $198,500 to $543,500. Costs can vary by location, and the average cost is $370,000.

We currently have more than 875 locations. Our goal is to reach 1,500 Cafes by 2025.
Yes. We have an in-house Real Estate Team and a network of local brokers that will assist you in performing a real estate site search.
In 2019, the top 50% of our Tropical Smoothie Cafe franchises had average gross sales of $982,486. Based on calendar year 2019, 120 of 326, or 37%, of the Cafes gained or surpassed this sales level. This information appears in Item 19 of our Franchise Disclosure Document. Your results may differ. There is no assurance that you will do as well.
Typically, we look for between 1,400 to 1,600 square feet. We also have flexible layouts for non-traditional venues.
Cafes usually employ 15-20 part-time employees.
The franchise fee is $30,000 for the first unit. If you choose to develop multiple units, a $20,000 franchise fee must be paid for the second and each additional unit. The franchise fee for qualified veterans is $15,000 for the first and each subsequent unit developed.
This fee covers your training, plans for building out the Cafe, access to our systems, technology, operational support, and more.
Franchise Agreements last for 15 years with renewal options.
There is a 6% Royalty Fee, as well as a 3% National Marketing Fee, and a 2% fee for Local Advertising Cooperative Contribution. Fees are per Cafe and based on gross sales.
We believe in setting up our franchisees for success. We provide the following training: four-week training program consisting of two weeks in a nearby Cafe, one week in a classroom setting at our Support Center in Atlanta, Georgia, and ten days onsite for your Grand Opening.
